Paul was getting deep into the training—that would have taken him to a position of great local authority—but, again, God intervened and an unread book found on a shelf in their home, was picked up by this young man—whose mind was ever searching for God. Opening the New Testament & Psalms he met Jesus through the pages of the book. Without any human teacher, the Holy Spirit led Paul to surrender his life to the One who loved him enough to die for him. And with that, the rest is history.
