“Rita” not only had stress from her husband’s rejection of her for another woman, for being left to raise her children without their father, and for the “other” woman’s audacity when confronted–as if all that was not enough, Rita wrestled openly with God about His willingness to forgive–and the danger of the “other” woman ending up in God’s heaven–because in Rita’s heart there was NOT room for both of them there–and what was God going to do about her hatred??? Alec, the youngest child in his family, literally adored his big brother–who paid attention to him in ways brothers can understand–ways that count for a boy.
